Why is there an attendee fee?

There are significant costs to running a weekend-long event of this size. The attendee fee covers:

 

Weekend Events, Services, and Staffing:

 

• Friday Movie Night 

• Saturday Family Games (Supplies & Prizes)

• Saturday Ice Cream Social

• Sunday Mass (Priest, Cantors, Musicians)

• Sunday Donuts & Coffee

• Lifeguards (2 pools)

• Traffic Supervisor (posted at bridge to maintain car-free canyon)

• Shuttles (between RV park & Main Meadow Friday & Saturday night)

• Sound Engineer

• Gratuity for El Capitan Canyon and Sun Outdoor Staff 

 

Equipment Rental and Setup:

• Raised Stage

• Audio Equipment

• Lighting Equipment

• Horseshoe Pits and Fencing

• Volleyball Set-up

 

Buyout Deficits (to ensure full private use of El Capitan Canyon and Sun Outdoors):

 

• Payment for any unreserved accommodations (cabins, yurts, RV slips, tent spots)

 

Administrative Costs:

 

• Legal, Tax, and Registration Fees for NSC Club 

• Event Insurance

• Websites and Services

• P.O. Box Rental
