ABOUT THE EVENT

The North Star Campout is a longstanding annual tradition. It provides an opportunity for us to step away from our hectic lives and reconnect with nature, our faith, and each other as we gather our families for a fun-filled weekend under the stars.

NOTE: The 2025 North Star Campout is a private event open to families whose children attend St. Paul the Apostle School. It is organized by parent volunteers and not sponsored by St. Paul the Apostle School or Church.

Campout Process

Lottery Entry

Everyone interested in going to campout signs up and those entrants are put in a lottery to determine their time slot for the selection day schedule.

Selection Schedule

​Once time slots are determined from the lottery schedule is posted for selection day. Families with timeslots are notified and join zoom at their slotted time to select their campout accomodation.

VIEW SCHEDULE

If you registered for the lottery, check the schedule for your selection time. 

On Sunday, March 9, join the Zoom meeting (a link will be sent to the primary contact email for your family the day before). From there, you'll be guided into the selection room to choose your accommodations.

Event Registration

Once selection is complete, participants will be sent the event registration forms. Everyone you is planning to come to campout (even day-campers) must register. ​

Accommodation Payment

Final step after event registration is to pay for your cabin, yurt, RV or tent spot through El Capitan Canyon or Sunland Outdoors.
