
Cancellation and Waitlist Policies
CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation Deadline: April 25th
If your plans change and you are no longer able to attend campout, you must contact North Star Campout at info@northstarcampout.com as soon as possible so that the committee can attempt to fill your spot from the Cancellation Waitlist.
You may not transfer your accommodation to another party on your own. El Capitan Canyon and Sun Outdoors Santa Barbara will only create/amend/cancel reservations from information provided by North Star Campout Committee.
North Star Campout Committee will attempt to fill your spot from our Cancellation Waitlist; however, if you cancel after the deadline listed above, you may forfeit your accommodation payment and/or your attendee fees if the committee is unable to fill your spot.

WAITLIST POLICY:
Cancellations after Selection Day are rare, but do occur. Cancellations will be filled from the Cancellation Waitlist.
The Cancellation Waitlist is created from the Selection Day schedule. Those families listed on the schedule AFTER the last Cabin and RV spot have been filled on Selection Day will be considered to be on the Cancellation Waitlist in the chronological order their names are published. However, if a family opts for a tent spot, their name will be removed from the Cancellation Waitlist.
Should a cabin or RV spot become available after Selection Day, the campout committee will offer the spot to the next family on the Cancellation Waitlist. That family will be given a set amount of time to accept or reject the offered spot. If the family does not respond or rejects the offered spot, they will not be offered another one and will be removed from the waitlist.
